The 10 categories in which Na Hong-jin’s ‘Hope’ is nominated fall under two different voting deadlines. Before choosing which categories to vote in, check both the nominee list and the deadline, as well as how fan votes are counted.

Voting Opens and Hope’s Nomination Field

Fan voting for the final winners of the 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards opened in the Celeb Champ app on November 2, 2026, covering 16 categories. ‘Hope’ is nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Zo In-sung), Best Supporting Actor (Eum Moon-suk), Best New Actress (Jung Ho-yeon), Cinematography and Lighting, Music, Art Direction, Editing, and Technical Achievement (Special Effects). By number of nominated categories, ‘Hope’ leads with 10, followed by ‘Possible Love’ with 8, ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’ with 7, and ‘Colony’ with 6.

Deadlines by Category and How the Popular Star Award Is Selected

Voting for six categories—including Cinematography and Lighting, Screenplay, Music, Art Direction, Editing, and Technical Achievement—closes at midnight on November 12, 2026. Voting for the other 10 categories—including Best Picture, Best Director, Best New Director, the lead, supporting, and newcomer acting awards, and the Cheongjeongwon Popular Star Award—remains open until midnight on November 24. As a result, ‘Hope’s’ nominations for Cinematography and Lighting, Music, Art Direction, Editing, and Technical Achievement have a different deadline from its nominations for picture, director, and acting awards.

The Cheongjeongwon Popular Star Award is given to four people: two women and two men. For each gender, one winner is selected solely through Celeb Champ fan voting. The other winner is selected by combining Celeb Champ votes with votes from Sports Chosun journalists and experts.

How Votes Count in Other Categories and the Ceremony Date

In the 15 categories other than the Cheongjeongwon Popular Star Award, the results combine evaluations by the professional jury with fan voting. The combined fan vote carries the same weight as one professional juror’s vote, so both fan votes and the jury’s evaluations count in these categories.

The ceremony will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido on November 25, 2026, and is scheduled to be broadcast live on KBS2. When deciding which categories to vote in, check each deadline first. For the Popular Star Award, keep its two selection routes in mind, as they differ from the combined scoring used for the other 15 categories.
