Nongshim Launches Four Dining Series Flavors—A Potato Chip Hunt Across Four Convenience Stores

Nongshim launched four different potato chip flavors in collaboration with CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, and Emart24 on August 10, 2026, with one flavor assigned to each convenience store chain. CU carries the Salty Butter flavor, GS25 the Spicy Carbonara flavor, 7-Eleven the Butter Garlic Shrimp flavor, and Emart24 the Cream Cheese Sausage flavor. According to Hankook Ilbo, the CU product is priced at 2,000 won, while the other three are priced at 1,800 won each.

The key feature of Nongshim’s Potato Chip Dining Series is that each convenience store offers a different flavor, even within the same series. To try all four varieties, shoppers need to visit CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, and Emart24 separately.

How This Differs from the Previous Concept

Nongshim explained that its previous Posheulin Guide focused on reinterpreting menus from dining brands, whereas this Dining Series recreates the flavors and aromas of various dishes without collaborating with specific brands. In an official announcement, Nongshim cited NIQ Korea data showing that convenience stores accounted for 36.4% of domestic snack retail sales in the first half of 2026—the highest share among major retail distribution channels.

Nongshim said it plans to consider expanding the distribution channels for the Dining Series. However, no timeline for expansion has been announced.

Events and What to Check Before Buying

Nongshim said it plans to run a “Convenience Store Stamp Tour” event, in which participants try and verify all four varieties, as well as a “My One-Pick Potato Chip” event for choosing a favorite product.
