Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Technopark announced that they selected Speedfloor Co., Ltd. as an investment target for Incheon Growth Fund 4 and signed an investment memorandum of understanding on August 28, 2026. The city plans to make a direct investment of KRW 1 billion in Speedfloor.
What kind of company is Speedfloor?
Speedfloor was introduced as a logistics automation company headquartered in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The company has built its business on technology that automates the loading and unloading processes of cargo trucks. More recently, it has reportedly expanded its business into smart logistics solutions that combine logistics robots with AI-based integrated control and data management technologies.
The key change is that Speedfloor is expanding from automating cargo-truck loading and unloading into integrated logistics solutions that combine AI and logistics robots.
KRW 1 billion investment and R&D linkage
The support goes beyond a direct investment plan to include links to research and development and subsequent fundraising. Incheon Metropolitan City said it plans to connect Speedfloor with a Scale-Up TIPS recommendation to support the company’s R&D and efforts to attract follow-on investment.
According to Incheon’s official project guidance, the Incheon Growth Fund support structure is designed to provide selected companies with a KRW 1 billion direct investment and an opportunity to receive a Scale-Up TIPS recommendation.
What has not yet been confirmed
Public materials confirm the selection of Speedfloor as an investment target, the signing of the investment memorandum of understanding, the plan for a direct investment of KRW 1 billion, and the policy of linking the investment to a Scale-Up TIPS recommendation. However, the public materials do not confirm whether the investment has actually been paid, the execution date, the investment terms, or the equity stake.
Accordingly, this news should be understood primarily as an announcement that Speedfloor was selected as an investment target for Incheon Growth Fund 4, together with plans for future support.
