The changes do not mean that every program connected to the event was canceled in the same way. The concert, the general admission convention, and invitation-only and business programs each have different statuses, and ticket terms vary. Taemin’s show canceled; general admission convention postponed to spring
Taemin’s show, scheduled for October 25, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, was canceled. The K-ERA FEST convention for general admission attendees, scheduled for October 24–25 at Bell Harbor, was postponed to spring 2027 rather than canceled. The dates were back to back, but the outcomes differ: the show was canceled and the convention was postponed.

Organizers gave separate reasons for the two decisions
Organizers said the circumstances behind the concert cancellation were beyond their control and had not been resolved by the scheduled show date. The public notice did not specify what those circumstances were.
A separate reason was given for postponing the convention. Organizers said that, with the concert no longer taking place, they could not confidently deliver the expected attendance and commercial opportunities promised to participating brands. They said they moved the general admission event to spring rather than proceed with an event that might fall short of expectations. This was the organizers’ decision about running the convention, separate from their explanation for canceling the concert.
Concert and convention tickets have different terms
Concert tickets will be fully refunded through the original point of purchase, according to the organizers and venue. They said buyers do not need to submit a separate request. Paid convention admission tickets, by contrast, remain valid for the new spring 2027 dates. No action is needed to keep a ticket for the rescheduled event. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your name and order details.
The free “Concert Ticket Holder pass” previously offered to concert ticket holders is a separate item that needs clarification. Before the October event, ticket information said holders could request the pass through the ticketing site, receive a QR code, and bring both the pass and proof of their concert ticket to convention check-in. The change notice explained concert ticket refunds and the validity or refund terms for paid convention tickets, but did not say whether the free pass remains valid after a concert ticket refund. As of October 18, the public FAQ page was still in preparation, and no public answers about tickets or refunds were available.
October invitation-only and business programs remain scheduled; spring dates are being finalized
Postponing the general admission convention does not mean all October programming has been called off. Organizers said the invitation-only Korean National Day Gala on October 22 and the invitation-only VIP influencer party on October 23 will go ahead as planned. The B2B program, comprising buyer meetings, distribution, and market visits on October 23–24, also remains on the schedule. These programs are for different audiences than the convention available through general admission tickets.
The new convention dates and venue have not yet been finalized. Organizers said they would announce them by November 30, 2026. Paid convention ticket holders can make a decision based on the announced options to keep their tickets or request a refund by email. The validity of the free pass tied to concert tickets after a refund remains unconfirmed. Anyone deciding whether to attend the spring event should also look for a separate update about that pass.
