9 BTS concert tickets out of 2,600 total… Woman in her 30s sent to prosecutors on macro-scam suspicions

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said a woman in her 30s was referred to prosecutors without detention on August 21, 2026, on suspicion of using macro programs and other methods to illegally purchase and resell about 2,600 concert tickets. Nine of them were reportedly tickets for BTS’s Gwanghwamun concert. Police applied for pre-indictment preservation of confiscation and collection of estimated criminal proceeds of approximately 442 million won.
